Thank you everyone that came out for our second to last event of the season on the Beautiful Lake Chatuge!

We really appreciate the Towns County Senior Center for allowing us to use their amazing facilities. It was a challenge to leave it as clean as they left it for us! Thank you again, and we hope we are able to come back in the future.

A special shout out to one of our local sponsors 4Her Outdoor Apparel https://4heroutdoor.com/ for sponsoring a phenomenal fellowship meal catered by Rib Country BBQ at our Friday evening gathering; but maybe next time they can throw in a few pillows because it was a struggle staying awake after eating all that food. A special thanks to Mrs. Anglin for making the potato salad and banana pudding. Mr. Mark is a blessed man to have cooking like that at home!

No one stayed sleepy for long when our very own Pastor Stephen Smith began to deliver God's word for the anglers. The spirit of God was moving in the room and you could tell that the Holy Ghost was ministering to hearts and souls. Thank you so much Pastor for speaking what was on your heart and sharing your testimony. It does not matter what we have done or how far we have strayed from God. All that matters is that we seek Him NOW!!! There are only two places our soul is going to spend for all of eternity. Let's choose life!         
 

Thank you to all of our sponsors for donating products for our raffle where we had over $1000 worth of tackle and goodies up for grabs including a Hammonds Fishing Center tackle pack, Berkley bag and a FOM logo RTIC cooler.

Lake Chatuge did not give up as many big bags as people were thinking, but it still produced a lot of quality bags. Shane Riddle and Thomas Riddle took First Place with 16.56lbs and Big Fish with 4.39lber. Great job guys! In Second, the team of Chad Spiva and Mark Hardin came in with 16.31lbs. They are on a roll as our points leaders going into the last tournament. Third Place was captured by the team of David Overbay and Barry Parker with 15.91lbs.

Come join us for our last event on May 18th at Clarks Hill Lake. It's gonna be a post-spawn showdown! Can our points leaders hold on for one last tournament? You don't want to miss the finale!!
